2001 Savage with 6K on the odometer. The bike's been running fine. I jumped on it this morning to head off to work and "BANG"... from the rear axle. Each revolution the tire made produced a "bang" and noticeable shake of the rear end of the bike. I thought the rear wheel was locked (brake...) but it's not. I think it's actually coming from the clutch assembly. It only does this with the clutch engaged. With the clutch disengaged the bike rolls without the noise or vibration. The cable is adjusted properly... I can shift gears fine... but when I try to ride the bike in gear... bang, bang, bang... like something is binding inside the clutch casing area. What the heck???
